WSU @ RSA 2012

Wayne State’s Rhetoric and Composition Program will be represented at the 2012 Rhetoric Society of American Conference with three faculty and students presenting:

  • Professors Richard Marback (“Why You Can’t Persuade a Zombie to Not Eat Your Brains”) and Jeff Pruchnic (“On the Ends of Species: Rhetoric and Cognition in Contemporary Bioethics Debates”) will present talks on Sunday as part of the “Persuading Minds: Rhetorics of Cognition and (Self-) Identification” panel.
  • PhD Candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant Michael Ristich will present a talk entitled “Anarchism, Rhetoric, and the Politics of the Spanish Popular Front” on Monday as part of the panel “Reframing the Popular Front: Lessons From the Rhetoric of the 1930’s.”
